An updated training course schedule for the current year is sent to all managers in January and posted on this site for ease of reference. Staff are able to register for courses if they have not already been booked on courses of interest to them.

Courses on offer include:

  • Customer Service Excellence – a must for all staff focusing on the ins and outs of superior telephone etiquette.
  • Business Letter Writing – back to English class for all staff where we learn language basics and professional ways to communicate in writing.
  • Effective Coaching Techniques – provides guidelines on how to coach staff correctly and is aimed at supervisors and managers.
  • Disciplinary Skills – teaches supervisors and managers the correct way to address disciplinary issues and is not for the faint-hearted.
  • Managing Absenteeism – looks at ways to improve overall staff attendance trends and all staff are encouraged to attend.
  • Stress Management – with today’s ever-increasing demands this course provides practical tips for all staff to reduce stress levels and promote improved well-being.
  • Understanding HIV & AIDS – all staff examine the nitty-gritty of this frightening pandemic and learn how to keep themselves and others safe
